Our Goals for the Future

Avalon-Carver Community Center is returning to it's original purpose of providing a full array of services that will strengthen families, promote economic self -sufficiency and develop a strong sense of community.

Today, our community consists not only of people, but networks of providers, corporate sponsors, politicians, private foundations, public jurisdictions, HMOs and other managed care providers. The way we must do business has changed. We have to be able to receive assistance as it's offered while remaining self- sufficient. We want to return to old values, make them work within present realities, and anticipate new challenges.
